Isonia does have its share of misery. Some sects believe in balance, so they accept that destruction and mayhem and sorrow are not always bad things. Of course, they don't advocate these things, instead suggesting that life has a tendency towards them to maintain balance.

The origins of Isonia are complex and not likely to be explained on that site because it might ruin it for the gamers.
