  • Very interesting...and Granny's article, rather amusing!

  • Ahh, subordination of the fairer sex. How quaint.

  • I think that the main flaw of Islam as a religion is it's narrow, almost non-spiritual view of an individual. First one must recognize a person as a spirit, a living soul, and only then as a woman or a man. No wonder that the Persians, who have always been the most mystical of muslims, evolved Sufism, the only branch of Islam to be considered a true Religion/Faith in my opinion. Indeed, our gross bodies are only an approximation of the traits we possess, as spiritual beings we inact both feminine and masculine qualities. At the time of conception, the dominant trait determines the sex.

  • wow. Thanks for that...

  • It is interesting that you posted something about marriage--I did too. I think to some degree, Iran's president has a good chrage against the west. But anyway this is what I have to say.

When we think of marriage today in regards to the history of marriage, does it concern any of you that the institution of marriage was always a prostitution ring and the father of the bride was always the pimp?--at least this is the case in the ancient days, in the medieval days, and also, at least to a small degree, in the modern days. We should be thankful that we contemporary Christians are finally getting things right. Right?

  • Yes, this prostitution ring runs deep in the history of humanity: it is the human history of procreation!

  • I left a comment responding to you on my post. In short, I am being serious.
