prepare to witness
If something major and terrible were to sweep through the USA and kill millions of people (like H5N1 human-avian flu), how would we respond? Specifically we, the Christians... Would we remain calm and trust in God as to the time of our life and death?
Are we prepared to witness to a suddenly-listening population of millions of people, sharing the truth about God and Jesus Christ to (perhaps) hundreds of friends and acquaintances who have suddenly become concerned for their souls?

Interesting question... As part of our teacher training a few weeks ago, we were asked to volunteer to communicate the gospel clearly in about 5 minutes to a group of about 10 other teachers. The one in our group that volunteered (or was volunteered) was the one that had been saved the most recently. Sad? Yeah.
I feel like I do preach the gospel as often as I can in my classroom, but sadly, I don't have tons of other venues here that are geared for that. I help in the church plant and youth program, but I'm still in a bit of a bubble... on the mission field. So, it goes both ways, I guess. You can be in a bubble wherever.
...I think it would be cool to work on a project where I help my students communicate the gospel more clearly - to a wider audience than just each other! Hey, I just thought of a way that I can integrate that into our current English activities! Thanks for helping the creative process, brother!
