America
"America the Beautiful"? Or "America the Dying"?
I realize that both might be true. But which do you think is most accurate?

America is beautiful; but I think spiritually we are dying as a country. There's so much pressure from the outside world. Countries hate us, but want our help. When we give our help, it is never enough. We can put the blame on our President and his policies; but He's been put in place by the Lord. So - the only answer, the only way, is through Jesus. No one person can solve the problems of the land without a savior.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
Amen!

ps: hope you are all having a nice vacation as a family
I wouldn't say dying, but nor would I say beautiful. I myself, actually, think that we've improved in most ways since the cold war era. We need to NOT be so standoffish and confrontational. The world does not exist in black and white. However, we do have a long way to go.
Frankly, there are much better things for us to be spending our money on than dragging us back into the dark ages.

I have a fairly optimistic view of America. Yeah, we might be going through some growing pains, but we will emerge stronger as a result. . . . that is what makes Americans special.
I encourage you to read "Empire of Debt" by Bonner and Wiggin... it's an interesting look at the financing of American power by chronic debt and inflation.
